Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Beans platform. By accessing or using beans.tech or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About Beans
Beans Tech Ltd (company registration pending) is a sponsorship marketplace that connects community event hosts with brand sponsors. We are registered in England and Wales. Our registered contact address for legal purposes is hello@beans.tech.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Beans
You must be based in the United Kingdom, or be a UK-registered entity, to use the platform in its current form
By using Beans, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and up to date
3. User Types and Accounts
3.1 Hosts
A Host is an individual or organisation that runs community events and registers on Beans to receive brand sponsorship. By creating a Host account, you agree to:Provide accurate information about your events and community
Only pursue sponsorships that are appropriate for your audience
Honour any commitments made to a brand sponsor through the Beans platform
Not misrepresent your audience size, engagement, or event details
3.2 Brands
A Brand is a business or individual that uses Beans to discover and sponsor community events. By creating a Brand account, you agree to:
Provide accurate information about your organisation and sponsorship requirements
Treat host communities with respect
Honour any agreed sponsorship commitments
Not use Beans to access community audiences for purposes outside the agreed sponsorship
4. The Beans Platform
Beans provides a marketplace to facilitate connections between hosts and brands. We do not guarantee:
That any host will receive a sponsorship offer
That any brand will find a suitable host match
The outcome of any sponsorship arrangement entered into between hosts and brandsBeans is not a party to any agreement between a host and a brand unless explicitly stated otherwise. The terms of individual sponsorship arrangements are agreed between hosts and brands directly.
5. Payments
Beans may in future facilitate payments between brands and hosts. Where payment features are available, separate payment terms will apply and will be presented to you at that time. Until such features are launched, all financial arrangements between hosts and brands are conducted off-platform, and Beans accepts no liability for any payment disputes.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Beans to:
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent informationSpam, harass, or abuse other users
Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content without our written consent
Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the platform
Use the platform in any way that violates applicable law
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms without notice.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on beans.tech, including the Beans name, logo, copy, and design, is owned by Beans Tech Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:Beans is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the platform
Our total liability to you in respect of any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or £100, whichever is greater)
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Beans Tech Ltd, its directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the platform.
10. Privacy
Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using Beans, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
11. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Beans platform at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where possible.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@beans.tech. We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
